Jade Tapson is an internationally exhibiting glass artist based in West Yorkshire. She studied at the University of Sunderland’s National Glass Centre, where she graduated with a BA in Glass and Ceramics in 2014 and an MA in Glass in 2016. Since then, Jade has been working as an artist, specialising in screen printing on glass and combining this with the technique of air entrapment known as Ariel. As part of her artistic practice, Jade has taught locally and internationally, has been working to commission and creating artworks, jewellery and tableware to showcase at fairs, art galleries, and competitions.
